Eight community events are being staged across East Hampshire to make finding a volunteering opportunity easier and more sociable.
The volunteering festivals are taking place during August and September and will bring local organisations together with residents interested in giving some of their time.
Instead of expecting people to search through scattered websites and application forms, the events give potential volunteers an opportunity to meet groups directly and find something that suits their interests and availability.
The programme also gives smaller organisations a useful shop window for the work happening in their own towns and villages.
