Age UK North Worcestershire is looking for people who can spare surprisingly small amounts of time to support older residents and a new generation of young fundraisers.

Volunteer mentors are needed for the Generation Changemakers programme, where around three hours a month can help students develop fundraising ideas, leadership and confidence. The charity also needs people who can give two hours to supermarket bucket collections.

The local charity works across Bromsgrove, Redditch, Wyre Forest, Droitwich and surrounding communities, with money raised locally staying in the area.

Volunteering is often presented as though it requires a second career. This appeal is built around the opposite idea: a couple of hours can still be useful if enough neighbours decide to give them.
