Age UK North Worcestershire is looking for people who can spare just a few hours each month to support older residents and help a new generation of young fundraisers develop their ideas.
The local charity is recruiting volunteer mentors for its Generation Changemakers programme. Mentors will spend around three hours a month supporting students between September and December as they develop fundraising campaigns, confidence and leadership skills.
It is also looking for fundraising volunteers who can give around two hours to help with bucket collections. Other roles across the charity include befriending, retail, activities, advice services and behind-the-scenes support.
The charity works across Bromsgrove, Redditch, Wyre Forest, Droitwich and surrounding communities. Because local Age UK organisations are independent charities, money raised locally stays with services supporting older people in that area.
