A £40 million housing will deliver 158 affordable homes at Trub Farm in Castleton, Rochdale.

MCI Developments and L&G Affordable Homes will build a mix of one and two-bedroom flats and two, three and four-bedroom houses after the scheme received full .

The homes will be offered for social rent and shared ownership. Plans also include a pedestrian and cycle link connecting the neighbourhood with the Rochdale Canal towpath.

For a development of this size, the detail is what is missing: there is no small affordable percentage hidden in the footnotes. All 158 homes are intended to sit within affordable tenures.
