Imperial College London and Seoul Hub have formed a designed to connect South Korean technology start-ups directly with UK .

The organisations plan to launch a joint pilot later this year, with future work covering exchanges, education, entrepreneurship, technology commercialisation and links to investors.

The programme will be led from Imperial’s White City Deep Tech Campus, where more than 5,000 researchers, scientists and engineers work alongside over 100 deep-tech companies.

International partnerships can sometimes amount to a photograph and a memorandum disappearing into a filing cabinet. This one has an immediate test: whether actual companies and researchers end up building useful things together.
