Services supporting people at risk of homelessness across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are set to receive new funding for , emergency help and longer-term support.
across the two counties will share £3.6 million, while the East Midlands Combined County Authority is due to receive more than £10 million across 2027/28 and 2028/29 for regional work.
Voluntary, community, faith and social-enterprise organisations will also be able to access funding through a separate communities programme. The practical aim is to intervene earlier where possible and help people move from crisis towards stable accommodation rather than treating a night off the street as the end of the job.
