Money generated through renewable-energy community funds is helping Norfolk projects use gardens, growing and to support young people and families.

One beneficiary, Field of Joy, runs Teen Rangers and Sanctuary Garden programmes and has launched an intergenerational project involving organic growing, tree planting and wetland conservation.

RWE says its renewable projects have now committed more than £50.9 million to community-benefit funds across the UK. In Norfolk, that money is helping some young people who have fallen out of mainstream education reconnect with learning through practical work outdoors.
