A Coventry-based author has launched three books in one day and signed away 100 per cent of her author royalties to local charities.
Itoro Abigeal Oyewobi’s books cover different stages of life: childhood , teenage confidence and skills, and career readiness for adults. They were launched at Jubilee Crescent Community Centre on 12 August.
The project combines publishing with community fundraising, with royalties directed towards charities in Coventry and Warwickshire. It is a neat arrangement: the books are intended to help readers build skills, while every copy can also money back into organisations helping people locally.
