Two members of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust's catering team have reached the national final of NHS Chef of the Year.
Chef Owen Stafford and retail assistant Lauren Carter progressed through earlier stages of the competition to earn a place in the final.
Hospital catering can be easy to overlook, but food is part of patient care, recovery and everyday life for thousands of NHS staff and visitors.
The trust says the pair's success reflects the standards of its patient and retail catering teams and has wished them well for the final.
