Rutland County Council’s programme offers between £500 and £2,000 for volunteer networks, health and wellbeing activities, welfare support and projects that build stronger community connections.

The fund is supported by public-health, and council money and follows an earlier round this year.

A small county does not necessarily need a giant scheme. Sometimes a village group needs enough for equipment, a room, transport or a few months of activity. The scale of the cheque can sensibly match the scale of the problem.
