Farsley proposal would turn former care-home site into 25 affordable council flats

A former care-home site in Farsley could become 25 council-owned affordable homes under plans submitted by Leeds City Council.

The proposal for the old Richmond House site includes one and two-bedroom flats, all intended for affordable rent and through the council’s housing register.

The revised scheme is smaller than an earlier 33-home proposal after . Plans also include a landscaped communal garden, cycle storage, electric-vehicle charging and energy-efficient construction.
