Awaaz, a charity supporting women from diverse backgrounds to improve their health and , is the first organisation to use the new facility.

Council leader Kam Rai said the building was intended for residents and groups who regularly give their time and resources to support others across the borough.

Janice Mews is now available for community groups to hire, adding another piece of practical to Redbridge’s voluntary and community sector.
