Doctors from Glasgow’s hospitals are swapping clinics and operating theatres for the concert stage to raise money for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland.
Clinicians from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde will join colleagues from across Europe in the European Doctors Orchestra at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 27 September.
The programme includes music by Dvořák and Brahms, with doctors from the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary among those taking part.
The orchestra performs public charity concerts each year, combining its members’ medical careers with music while supporting health and causes. Money from the Glasgow performance will go to CHAS, which supports children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families across Scotland.
