Pembrokeshire school records its strongest GCSE results yet

A school in St Davids is celebrating its strongest GCSE performance to date, with more than 84 per cent of pupils reaching the Level 2 threshold.

At Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi, almost a third of the 2026 cohort, 32 per cent, achieved at least five A* to A grades.

School leaders credited the pupils’ work alongside support from families, teachers, support staff and the wider community. Students are now moving into , training, apprenticeships and other pathways.
