Ten charities will share a £20 million Scottish Government fund to provide practical support to families during 2026-27.

The funded work covers , income maximisation and help towards employment, with participating charities estimating that as many as 35,000 families could benefit across almost all of Scotland.

Projects include support for parents of children, joined-up financial and wellbeing help in Caithness, and partnerships designed to make services easier to in rural communities. The common thread is bringing support closer to where families already live rather than expecting people to navigate a maze of separate services.
