A temporary medical hub in Belfast brought volunteers, clinicians and emergency responders together to support Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026.
Ulster University hosted the centre, with St John Ambulance Northern Ireland volunteers working alongside Health and staff, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and other emergency partners.
The festival was expected to attract more than 800,000 visitors over eight days, making coordinated healthcare and first-aid support an important part of keeping the event safe and accessible.
The hub is a good example of the quieter behind huge public celebrations: volunteers and frontline teams working together so everyone else can enjoy the music, crowds and atmosphere.
