BBC Introducing LIVE is returning in November with events across ten UK cities aimed at giving emerging musicians practical access to the industry.
The programme will Belfast, Bridgend, Gateshead, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Nottingham and Sunderland, with performances, workshops, panels and networking for musicians, DJs and other creators.
Plans include four gigs in Leeds, a songwriting camp in Manchester and a full day of workshops, open mics and feedback sessions at Sunderland’s Fire Station. For somebody trying to turn a bedroom demo into a career, access to people who know how the machinery works can be worth considerably more than another motivational quote about believing in yourself.
