Community groups across East Dunbartonshire can apply for grants of up to £4,000 for projects that bring people together and make local life a little less isolated.
The council’s new Local Community Fund is open to not-for-profit organisations working on , support for children and families, inclusion and opportunities for people who face barriers to taking part.
The first round closes on 21 September, with another expected in early 2027. Small grants rarely arrive with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, but for a local group £4,000 can be the difference between an idea sitting in a notebook and a room full of people actually meeting.
